Ahhhh….my kickoff blog.

My name is Alan and I will be writing and posting blogs under the name of the Firepitguy. I am an avid camper and outdoorsman all my life and have always been facinated with building fires (no – I’m not a piro). I enjoy it so much that I have actually  built a business around it and called it the FirePitDepot.com. Here you can find some really cool designs on the latest firepits, fireplaces and many other things associated with building a fire. I wil try to write some reviews in the future and share some camping experiences and  fire building tips as I go.
